Mackenzie Webster
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
Welcome — I'm glad you're here.
My name is Mackenzie Webster (MACP, RCC, RPN), and I’m the founder of Sequoia Counselling and Wellness Services Inc.
I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (RCC #22410) and a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN), though my primary work and focus through Sequoia Counselling is within my counselling scope. My background in mental health nursing informs my approach, allowing me to offer care that is both clinically grounded and deeply compassionate.
A Bit About Me
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor and founder of Sequoia Counselling and Wellness Inc., my work is grounded in creating a safe, respectful, and collaborative space for individuals seeking meaningful change. I support clients through an integrative approach to therapy, with a particular interest in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work—modalities that offer a powerful framework for exploring the many facets of our inner world.
My background as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse has provided me with deep insight into the complexities of mental health and substance use, and continues to inform my compassionate, trauma-informed approach to counselling. This complementary experience strengthens my ability to meet clients where they are, with both clinical knowledge and heartfelt empathy.
Outside of the therapy space, I’m an avid learner and I continually seek to expand my understanding of human nature, healing, and holistic wellness. These ongoing pursuits enrich my practice and reflect my commitment to growth—both personally and professionally.
It would be an honour to walk alongside you on your path toward healing and self-discovery. Please reach out to schedule a session or to learn more about how counselling can support your wellness journey.
